Jack's Ancestors

Jack is an outstanding GSP.

Jack brings together what we feel is the very best of a German Shorthaired Pointer. The greatest of temperaments, as good as it gets, really. Super loving, great with kids and all people for that matter. Would love nothing more then to be in anyone's lap.  He has a great nose, great hunter for upland, waterfowl, and fur, great in the water, natural point, back and a wonderful soft mouth retrieve.  A pleasure to hunt with.  Never worry about him getting lost or not coming back.  He hunts with and for you.

So what's the who, what and where of
Desert Point's Jack

I believe it's Jack's mother that is the real key.  Jack's half brother David is just like Jack and David has a very different sire. Also David is liver and Jack is black.  Jack's mother's mom is 100% made up of dogs from the UK. Jack's mother's father is Shooting Starr, which is German, Hustler, and a little American field. Jack's father is predominantly German and dogs from the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. It seems like a long way around to make the best dog of any breed that I've ever know, but it worked.  I hope you enjoy the many break down of pedigrees that make up this wonderful dog.
