The fall is the time to start really working with the young dogs and getting the older dogs in shape from the the harsh summer here in Az. This year we did not get away to cooler hunting and training grounds until Sept. We start this page in early October, 2016 in Northern Calif. We go into the mountains to let the young dogs run with the older dogs and develop into hunting dogs. We shoot around them a lot, and let them learn how to handle the terrain. California is not the greatest place for hunting, but with so much family up here it all works out. Getting young dogs out a lot is one of the most important things you can do for them. It sets up the rest of their lives for being bold confident hunters. Enjoy the pictures.
