Lady's puppyLady's puppies have been outstanding. It does not seem to matter who he is bred to. Ms. Charlie is a Jack and Lady girl who herself has produced great hunting dogs. The Lady and Buck puppies were outstanding.

Great RetrieverEvery since Lady was a puppy, she has had the most remarkable nose ever. When she was a little pup starting at around 7 weeks, I would hide birds and she showed a remarkable ability to always find them. I would throw the birds as far as I could in the deepest cover, and she would always find them. I would hide them in the field and have Dolly who was a month older go search for them. I got to where Lady always won, and Dolly had a great nose as well.

Lady's Pedigree is full of Field Trial Champions. She is anchored in her versatility by her solid liver hunting dog mother.
Lady's father Duke was a field trial champion, and so was his dad, as well as every other dad, and most of the mothers for 10 generations. Lady's pedigree on both the mother's and father's side are field trial dogs. Most outstanding hunting dogs in their own right. I believe that Lady's mother, Wildrose Dixieland Leipchen who is a solid liver girl, and a great versatile hunting dog is a big key to Lady's versatility.

Bullet here pictured with owner Charlie Rose is the grandfather of Lady, the father of Dolly, the grandfather of Fancy, and Pepper and is in many of our pedigrees. Charlie said that this was the best hunting dog and guide dog that he had ever owned, with an outstanding long range nose. It was only later when Bullet was 7 that he decided that Bullet had what it took to be a field trial champion. When a breeder tells you this is their best dog ever, it pays to pay attention.

Lady's Mother, Looks Just Like Lady.
Lady's Father, Duke.
This is what Charlie Rose said about Lady and Fancy's Sire, and Dolly's 1/2 Brother:
Duke is truly something very special. Two years ago his owner asked me if I would take him and see just how much I could do with him because Will was seeing potential in Duke he just wasn't able to bring out properly. Since I owned two of his littermates which I absolutely adored I said yes without hesitation. Duke proved the first fall while he was with me he could be a great wild birddog in five different states on 11 different species of upland birds as well as retrieving ducks and geese for me. His manners in the house and around the kennel have been pure perfection as well. Agreeing with Will on Dukes so far untapped potential I decided to throw him in with my field trial string as well. Well, he definitely has made us proud. In a phenomenal feat he completed earning his Field Championship in just five months earning all of his points toward that title in adult stakes.
He began his career in adult stakes this spring, and in only five trials has three wins of 2, 3, and 4pnts as well as a 2nd in a 29 dog 5 point stake. All of his placements up until this most recent were also in retrieving points.
Duke is absolutely a phenomenal young dog and an absolute credit to his father "Bullett" and grand testament to our breeding program here at WildRose.
