Desert Point's Jack, A Once in a Lifetime Dog.

Picture

Jack is very versatile

Jack is an Outstanding Hunting Dog on all game. I have seen him battle badger, coon, fox, bobcats, and one pig.  He has a great nose for finding down game. He is great on quail, duck, grouse, pheasant, and loves a good rabbit chase.  His 3 girls Ms. Charlie, Bonnie, Bella are from 3 different moms and all 3 are outstanding hunting dogs.

Best Dog Ever

Jack is the best all around dog I've ever owned, of any type of dog.  He is a great hunter, with the very best of temperaments.  Jack is a remarkable dog who loves everyone, and knows no stranger. He is a Therapy dog in the Care Centers as well as an outstanding hunting dog.

Excellent Retriever

Jack has a very soft retrieve, he will retrieve on land and in the water, fur or feather. He is a great Gambel Quail Dog, and I always say: "If they can find and point Gambel Quail, they can find and point anything".

Jack's Pedigree, is loaded with some outstanding versatility.

Picture
Jack's mother Hillbilly Lucky Lacey is an outstanding grouse dog.  According to her owner the best grouse dog he had ever owned.  When a grouse hunter and breeder tells you that this is the best hunting dog they have ever owned, it's time to listen. I have 3 dogs out of Lacey, and they are outstanding.  Lacey is a great mother line, and we own her a lot.  Her mother is an all English dog, and her father from outstanding American versatile dogs.
Picture
Jack's father was a black roan that looked like Jack.  Amos, German on his mother's side, and mostly German on his father's side.  Black almost always means a great influence of German dogs.  German dogs tend to have a love of water, and great retrieve, as well as being close working foot hunter type dogs.
Jack's mother Lacey is all English dogs on her mother's side.  The English produce outstanding versatile hunting dogs, with a great love of water, close working smart dogs with an outstanding retrieve.  Lacey's father's side is from the outstanding Hawkeye  Kennel who's dogs come down via the dogs from the outstanding Shooting Starr Kennel.       Jack's pedigree is truly unique, and a close look reveals an outstanding pedigree that goes with an outstanding and unique dog, our Desert Point's Jack.
